This selection from Johny Lemus’ Finca San Antonio is bright and juicy, with a complex, fruity profile. The very first sip immediately brings strawberry yogurt to mind, followed by delicate jasmine aromatics. As the cup cools, a tropical fruit brightness begins to emerge, complemented by a soft, nutty undertone reminiscent of mango sticky rice, with the sweetness of coconut milk and a hint of green mango salad.

Johny Lemus and his sister, Marta Yaneth, run Finca San Antonio in La Montañita, El Salvador. They take pride in carrying on the traditions of the farm established by their parents. Together, they cultivate Pacamara, Pacas, and Gesha varieties, with approximately 2,000 plants of each. Pacamara has long been their flagship variety, but their Gesha consistently produces beautiful results with exceptional flavor profiles.

The family is committed to sustainability and environmentally conscious farming practices, limiting unnecessary tree removal and planting a variety of indigenous trees for reforestation and shade. The next generation continues to carry these traditions forward, with a strong focus on community impact and a deep sense of pride in creating employment opportunities for surrounding communities.
