Finca Pampojilá is sweet and jammy with a plethora of deep fruit flavors. The first sip jumps out with notes of wild blackberry jam with a subtle orange note dancing along. Cooling the blackberry flavors morph into a juicy red grape note with a nice tannic structure adding some complexity and support. The deep purple fruit notes are offset with hints of ripe tropical fruit and melon. Throughout the cup their is soft pastry-like sweetness that reminds us of vanilla bean paste and sugar cookies.

Finca Pampojilá is a historic Guatemalan coffee farm. It was established in 1850 by Manuel and Monica Diaz. Throughout the farms history it has won many national awards. Sadly, in 2010 the farm was heavily damaged by tropical storm Agatha, and as a result the Diaz family sold the land to Agropecuaria Atitlán. The new owners rejuvenated the farm by introducing new varieties and building Infrastructure to support new innovate processing methods.

Finca Pampojilá is a member of the Association of Private Natural Reserves of Guatemala. 50% of the farm area is committed to remaining in its natural state as tropical forest.
