Finca Himalaya is smooth and sweet with strong notes of dried berries - starting with tart cranberries adn cooling into sweet blueberries. Over these sweet flavors we pcik up floral aromas like rose blossom. All of this is held together with a foundation of malty tea, chocolate, toffee, and dark rum.

Mauricio Salaverria owns multiple farms in the Apaneca Mountains. His family has been growing coffee since the 1890's, but he has earned a reputation all his own. His farms have a long history of success in the El Salvador Cup of Excellence, including multiple top 10 rankings. We're very excited to feature this coffee for a third year.

The Apaneca Mountains are the home of the second coffee farm Tony ever visited back in 2008. It was the coffees grown on these mountains where he first really began  to understand the influence of a coffees specific growing conditions. Slight changes in elevation or a mountain face can have surprising influence on how the end cup tastes. While even neighboring farms are noticeably different. Due to this, coffees from this specific mountain are very special to us.
